I am social historian of Ireland based in Thurles, Co. Tipperary. I work as a lecturer in the Department of History at the University of Limerick, and as a mapping and editorial assistant at the Irish Historic Towns Atlas project based in the Royal Irish Academy, Dublin.
A graduate of the University of Oxford, I hold an MA in the History of Family from the University of Limerick (2007) and a PhD in Digital Arts and Humanities (History) from University College Cork (2017).
