Research Interests


​I have a broad range of research interests and often take an interdisciplinary approach, combining my knowledge of history with historical geography and literature.  While my focus is nineteenth century Irish history, my thesis covered the period from the Cromwellian settlement through to Independence, and Britain as well as Ireland.
